Moderation

Unified moderation for Discord and Roblox. Manage bans, mutes, warnings, and kicks from a single dashboard.

Accessing Moderation

Select your server in the dashboard
Click "Moderation" under Roblox in the sidebar

Statistics

Four key stats (clickable to filter):

Stat	Description
Total Bans	Active bans across platforms
Total Mutes	Active mutes across platforms
Total Warnings	All warnings issued (Discord)
Total Kicks	Total kicks issued (Discord)

Click any stat to filter the activity feed.

Platform Filtering

Filter by platform:

All - Show all moderation actions
Discord - Discord-only actions
Roblox - Roblox-only actions

Moderation Actions

Bans

Permanently or temporarily remove users from your server/game.

Discord Bans:

Removes from Discord server
Prevents rejoining
Can delete message history

Roblox Bans:

Prevents joining your games
Syncs to all connected games
Kicks if currently in-game

Mutes

Temporarily silence users.

Discord Mutes:

Uses Discord timeout feature
Or assigns a muted role
Temporary or permanent

Roblox Mutes:

Mutes in-game chat
Syncs to connected games

Warnings

Formal warnings that track behavior.

Records the warning
Accumulates on user profile
No automatic action (unless configured)

Kicks

Immediately remove from server/game without banning.

User can rejoin
Useful for disruption without permanent action

Creating a Moderation Action

Click "Create Action" or the + button
Select action type (Ban, Mute, Warn, Kick)
Fill in the details:

Field	Description
User	Search by username or ID
Platform	Discord, Roblox, or Both
Reason	Why you're taking action
Duration	For mutes/bans (permanent or timed)
Evidence	Links, screenshots (optional)

User Lookup

Search for any user to see their history:

Enter Discord username/ID or Roblox username
View their moderation profile

User Profile Shows:

Active Punishments - Current bans, mutes
History - All past moderation actions
Statistics - Total warnings, bans, etc.
Quick Actions - Ban, mute, warn, kick buttons

Roblox Moderation Setup

Configure how Roblox moderation works:

Admin System (WebSocket)

Real-time moderation via WebSocket:

Instant ban synchronization
Requires Technified module in game
Real-time player kicks

Roblox Ban API (Open Cloud)

Uses Roblox's official API:

Works with Open Cloud credentials
Enter API key in settings
Slightly delayed sync

Configure in Settings > General > Roblox Moderation Settings.

Cross-Platform Moderation

When you ban on "Both" platforms:

User is banned from Discord
Ban syncs to all connected Roblox games
If user is in-game, they're kicked
Records are linked

Sync Behavior

New bans sync immediately (or near-immediately)
Unbans also sync across platforms
History is preserved on both

Duration Options

Permanent

No expiration
Manual removal required

Temporary

Quick options:

1 hour
1 day
1 week
1 month
Custom (set specific duration)

Temporary actions automatically expire.

Best Practices

Document Everything

Always include a reason
Add evidence when available
Be specific about violations

Consistency

Same offense = same punishment
Follow your moderation guidelines
Consult team for edge cases

Proportional Response

Offense Severity	Suggested Action
Minor first offense	Warning
Minor repeat	Mute (short)
Moderate offense	Mute (longer) or temp ban
Severe offense	Ban
Extreme offense	Permanent ban

Cross-Platform Considerations

Major offenses: Ban both platforms
