Transcripts

Save a complete record of a ticket conversation before deleting the channel. Transcripts capture every message, attachment and embed so you can review them later.

Since version 8.4 "Halcyon", the transcript viewer uses a full Discord-channel theme so reading an archived ticket feels exactly like scrolling through the original channel.

Saving a Transcript

When a ticket is closed, three buttons appear in the channel: Reopen, Transcript and Delete.

  1. Click Transcript in the closed ticket channel
  2. The bot saves every message in the channel
  3. A confirmation message appears

Transcripts capture up to 2,000 messages per ticket.

Viewing Transcripts

  1. Open Tickets in the sidebar
  2. Open the Transcripts sub-page

The transcript page lists every saved transcript with search and stats.

Searching

Search by username, ticket number or subject to find a specific transcript.

Reading a Transcript

Click any transcript to open the viewer. The new Discord-themed viewer renders the conversation almost identically to the original Discord channel:

  • Channel header at the top with the ticket name and close info
  • Info strip showing who opened the ticket, when it was opened and closed, the closer, and the message count
  • Grouped messages — consecutive messages from the same author appear under a single avatar / name, exactly like Discord does
  • Hash-coloured avatar fallbacks for users without avatars (the same hash Discord uses, so the colour is recognisable)
  • Per-message timestamps in Discord's "Today at 3:45 PM" / "Yesterday at 9:12 AM" format
  • Attachments and embeds — files are listed with their original names; embeds are rendered as collapsible blocks
  • Bot badges on bot messages so you can tell which lines came from Technified itself

Downloading

Click Download to save the transcript as a text file. The download includes every message with timestamps, authors and content in a plain readable format — useful for evidence outside the dashboard.

Deleting a Transcript

  1. Click the delete icon on the transcript card
  2. Confirm

Deleted transcripts cannot be recovered.

Automatic Cleanup

Transcripts are stored for one year from the date they were saved. After that they are automatically deleted. The Expiring Soon stat shows how many transcripts will be removed in the next 30 days, so you can download anything important before it disappears.
