AutoMod

Create and manage Discord AutoMod rules directly from the dashboard. AutoMod automatically detects and acts on messages that break your rules.

Since version 8.3, AutoMod has its own page. Open Moderation → AutoMod in the sidebar — it is no longer a tab inside Moderation.

Accessing AutoMod

  1. Select your server in the dashboard
  2. In the sidebar under Roblox, expand Moderation
  3. Click AutoMod

How AutoMod Works

Discord AutoMod scans messages as they are sent. When a message matches a rule, the configured actions are applied automatically. Technified lets you manage these rules from the dashboard and add extra actions on top of what Discord provides.

Creating a Rule

  1. Click "Create Rule"
  2. Choose a trigger type
  3. Configure the trigger settings
  4. Set the actions
  5. Click "Create"

Trigger Types

TypeWhat it detects
KeywordMessages containing specific words or phrases
Keyword PresetDiscord's built-in filters (profanity, slurs, sexual content)
Mention SpamMessages mentioning too many users or roles
SpamSuspected spam content

Actions

For each rule, you can enable one or more actions:

ActionWhat it does
Block MessagePrevents the message from being sent
Send AlertPosts a notification in a channel you choose
TimeoutTemporarily mutes the user
DM UserSends a direct message explaining what happened
BanBans the user from the server

DM and Ban are extra actions provided by Technified on top of Discord's built-in AutoMod.

Exempt Roles and Channels

You can exclude specific roles or channels from a rule. Messages from exempt roles or in exempt channels are not checked.

Logging

Every AutoMod trigger is logged. If logging is enabled, you see the full details in your log channel: which rule was triggered, what the message said, who sent it, and what action was taken. All triggers are also visible in the Moderation section of the dashboard.
