Audit Logs

Track all configuration changes and actions taken through Technified. Audit logs provide accountability and help investigate issues.

Accessing Audit Logs

1. Select your server in the dashboard
2. Click "Audit Logs" under Logs in the sidebar

What's Logged

Audit logs track all significant actions:

Staff Actions

• Staff role created/updated/deleted
• LOA created/updated/deleted
• Strike created/updated/removed
• Note created/updated/deleted

Moderation Actions

• Bans issued/removed
• Mutes issued/removed
• Warnings issued/removed
• Kicks issued

Configuration Changes

• Settings updated
• Bindings added/updated/removed
• Forms created/updated/deleted
• Permissions changed

Log Entry Details

Each log entry shows:

Action Type Badges

Actions are color-coded:

Filtering Logs

By Action Type

Filter to specific action categories:

• All Actions
• Staff Actions (roles, LOA, strikes, notes)
• Moderation Actions (bans, mutes, warnings, kicks)
• Configuration Changes (settings, bindings)

By Actor

Search for actions by a specific user:

1. Enter their Discord username or ID
2. See all actions they performed

By Target

Search for actions affecting a specific user:

1. Enter their Discord username or ID
2. See all actions taken against them

By Date Range

Filter by time period:

1. Set start date
2. Set end date
3. View logs from that period

Searching Logs

Use the search bar to find specific entries:

• Search by action type
• Search by username
• Search by reason or details

Log Details

Click on any log entry to see full details:

Action Information

• Complete action description
• Who performed it (with Discord ID)
• Exact timestamp
• Related items

Before/After Changes

For updates, see what changed:

Before: Nickname format was "None"
After:  Nickname format is "{roblox_username}"

• Link to affected user profile
• Link to related settings page
• Link to related form/binding

Exporting Logs

Download logs for external use:

1. Apply any filters you want
2. Click "Download" or "Export"
3. Choose format: CSV
4. Download the file

Use exports for:

• Record keeping
• Compliance requirements
• External reporting
• Backup

Log Retention

Logs are retained based on your plan:

• Free: 30 days
• Premium: Extended retention

Older logs are automatically removed.

When something goes wrong:

1. Filter by the affected user or time period
2. Review all related actions

Auditing Staff

Review staff member activity:

1. Filter by the staff member
2. See all actions they've taken
3. Check for patterns or issues
4. Use for performance reviews

Tracking Changes

When settings seem different:

1. Filter to Configuration Changes
2. Find recent updates
3. See what was changed
4. Identify who made changes

Resolving Disputes

When users dispute actions:

1. Find the specific action in logs
2. See exactly what was done
3. Check who did it and why
4. Provide evidence if needed

Investigation Process
