Role bindings

Automatically assign Discord roles based on Roblox group membership.

How it works

1. User verifies Roblox account on Technified
2. Technified checks their group memberships
3. Discord roles are assigned based on your bindings
4. Roles update when Roblox rank changes

Create a binding

Example setup

Group 12345678, Rank 255 → @Owner
Group 12345678, Min Rank 200 → @Admin
Group 12345678, Min Rank 100 → @Moderator
Group 12345678, Member → @Community

A user at rank 200 gets: @Admin, @Moderator, @Community

Find your Group ID

Look at your Roblox group URL:

roblox.com/groups/12345678/GroupName

The number is your Group ID.

Syncing

Roles sync when:

• User verifies their account
• User uses the refresh command
• Periodic sync runs (if enabled)

Troubleshooting

Roles not assigning — Check user is verified, Group ID is correct, bot has Manage Roles permission, and bot role is above assigned roles.

Roles not updating — User may need to manually refresh.
